'Songs Without Name's was recorded in stages across multiple basements, bedrooms and even an attic turned studio at one point towards the end of the bands life cycle.

We had been enjoying some fun shows both locally and interstate, attention and momentum was gaining and the outlook was pretty positive. We had a setlist of songs that we felt were good enough to record and gave ourselves the task of tracking them. We enlisted the help of our friend Corey Sleap who somehow managed the impossible with our first recording..(2 mics, a laptop and a pair of headphones? WTF) but this time with access to some better toys!

Meanwhile...
Tim and Noah started jamming together in their own time...forming what would later become the sonic juggernaut 'Lions Light', then 'Light Lions'...and then 'Rat Filth'. These two guys just make great noise together. Whatever they call it. However they do it.

Sean got the call from his old band Antiskeptic to help fill in for some shows and that was the sign to call it a day. As a way of seeing out the project we finished this for vibes and closure. Inexplicably we then just sat on it, showed mates but pretty much just moved on with lives and bands and careers.

Bands aren't forever but music is.

Sean, Tim and Noah had another project much like this one a few years later (albeit more post-punk and political) called 'Flag and Forget'. Similar story. Had fun, made music, recorded it, called it.
Nath went on to qualify for the international Curling team and won bronze for this native home of Castlevania in the 07 Winter Olympics.
